Insurance Coverage

Most insurance companies cover varicose vein treatment. Once the consultation is complete and medical necessity is established, we will send a letter of pre-determination to the insurance carrier requesting the approval of the proposed treatment. Every effort is made to provide the insurance company with the documentation they require to make their determination.

Insurance companies are attracted to the fact that these procedures are performed in the office which eliminates costly fees such as hospitalization, general anesthesia and lengthy recovery times.

Even if Dr. Kaplan is not a provider with your specific insurance plan, he and his staff are able to work with you on various payment options and plans.
